When creating a Lead Page in ActiveConversion, the lead page is automatically published with a URL that starts with http://pages.activeconversion.com/yourcompany/...
If you'd like to create a custom URL for your leadpage, like http://leads.yourcompany.com, you will need to have access to the DNS settings for your website domain.
If you don't have access or are unsure, refer to your IT support person. If ActiveConversion maintains your website we can take care of this process for you. Just email a request to our support team at firstname.lastname@example.org.
To create a custom URL, you will need to:
- Create a new sub domain (leads.yourcompany.com) with your DNS provider (often the same as your website hosting company)
- Forward the sub domain to your landing page URL (http://pages.activeconversion.com/yourcompany/...)
For more specific instructions on setting up and forwarding a subdomain, call your website DNS provider or refer to their help center documentation.
If your website is hosted with GoDaddy, you can find their help center article on forwarding a subdomain here: https://ca.godaddy.com/help/forward-a-subdomain-19977
